i certainly wouldn't fold there. if he has a boat he certainly is a crafty beaver.

Re: Amidoingitright?

Sure, he could have a boat there that he slow played or caught on the end. Several ways you could be beat here, so calling and not pushing here is good.

Re: Amidoingitright?

Yea I agree I should fold here 0% of the time and call most of the time, but what about a raise? Maybe make a small raise here 20% of the time? Do you think I can get value from trips?

Re: Amidoingitright?

i would reraise here most of the time. I just really doubt he wouldnt bet TT, KT, K9, or 99 at some point in the hand.

I would be really tempted to minraise and get a call from Kx or maybe even Tx. then again i don't play tourneys, so maybe you need to be more risk averse in a SNG. In cash play you have the nuts almost always on the river.

some assumptions
he doesn't have KQ, KK, or AK (b/c you would have heard from him already)

k9, k3, and kt, 33, 99, tt will bust us if we raise.
k2, k4, k5, k6, k7, k8, kj will pay us off
any of the other random hands out there may or may not pay.

got reads on this guy?

not going broke is more important than getting full value in a sng...just call and move on.

yeah, really the "just call" is format specific.
