Re: Just flopped a straight flush

thanks. Thought I would be better to let my opponents catch up, so I checked. It was a pretty tight table to that point.

See, that's why I'm not playing H/L yet. Especially online it's really tough.

Re: Just flopped a straight flush

I don't know much about OMAHA-HI, but, I do know that on a board where a straight flush is possible, a full house is possible, and a flush is possible, I am not going to go all-in with just a straight! (Unless I am a fish/donk) That guy's full house is pretty pathetic too - the worst one you can have - nice.

OMAHA-8 would have been worse because you would have chopped the low with xXxFiShxXX. (edit - which abby99 said first - doh!)

That hand was from a $1 SNG, and the players there cant even read their hands or judge their hands.
I.e. I flopped the nut straight and pushed and two guys called, both with 2 pair.

Or:
I pushed the action preflop with AA45 with a suited ace, someone raised all -in with QQ I called and he caught his Q.
I made a comment like "nice catch, lucky kid" and a third person replied something like "no, it was bad played from you to put so much money in there (with AA)"
And he said he would had tried to keep the pot low (and let other players hop on).
I mean...

Yeah it's a tough one, especially in a foreign language.
I can't understand why that network doesn's use a normal hand history.

I actually liked this format and found it easy to follow the action. But then again I am a little odd...

I play microdonk poker (for now). Every time another player tries to tell me what to do, I have a standard response of "You play micro-poker, so forgive me if I do not take your advice."

Re: Just flopped a straight flush

I gotta admit, I love to tease my opponents in these micro SNGs. Not in cash games.
If your opponents get mad at you, they're trying to bust you and you can use that to your advantage.
But I don't play that much SNGs actually. Normally I play Nl10 at Full Tilt.
But I have to learn for college, so I always have a sng running nearby.
.......... I hope there's anybody out there who understands what I'm trying to say
