Spade Club Subscription Pokersite

I noticed this today. I find it interesting but I'm not sure I could
pull the trigger on a 20 a month subscription.
Poker News - Card Player Launches SpadeClub Beta Today
It's in the beta stage so signing up is free as long as you actually test it.
It looks like there are lots of free rolls.

Who's beta testing?

I'm a subscriber, pre-paid for the year................and played in my first game last night, came in 26 out of 175 and won some additional points. They have free rolls for non subscribers but the better tourneys with higher payouts are for subscribers only. Tourneys pay out in cash and/or points and you use points to buy into higher payout tourneys. It's only 20 bucks a month or 140 prepaid for the year. As far as the application is concerned, it's pretty bare bones but does the job. There is no hand history which sucks, so you won't be able to get your hand history and import it into poker tracker or review plays offline. However, this is only the first version of the software so i'm sure it will improve over time.

So I guess all you really need to do is win 140 bucks in a year to make it worth it.
How are you doing so far?
No hand history would suck munkey nutz.
I think I'm going to pass, for now, the amount of time I play online has decreased considerably .

I think I'm going to pass, for now, the amount of time I play online has decreased considerably .

Well with multiple money "freerolls" a day, I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. I played my second tourney last night, the daily $200 tourney and made the final table. Finished 6/200 and was paid $12. I believe first place pays out $60 for that tourney. That win paid for my first month of my pre-paid subscription The only reason why I finished 6 was the length of the tourney, it started at 10 pm ET and I busted out at 2:30 am, and I pretty much wanted to bust out at that point because I needed to go to bed to wake up at 6:30 am to get to work and i didn't get much sleep the night before, and i'm going out tonight for drinks (won't be able to make tonight's chiptalk tourney ) So i pretty much didn't play my "A" game at the end there. Overall though it was fun and for me it's nice to know I won't have to deposit any money whatsoever there for the next year to have fun and possibly make a few dollars here and there.

They also have a weekly $5,000 tourney where to qualify you need to play in a qualifier and place at a certain level. First place for that weekly tourney is $1,500. There is also a $40,000 monthly tourney, and I believe the first one will be next week. To play in that, once again you need to qualify via a qualifier tourney. However, the monthly tourney pays $10,000 to the first place finisher. Not shabby at all...................considering that the number of players for that tourney won't be very high because not just anyone can buy into it, but that you have to go through a qualifer tourney to gain entry into it.

I would suggest you give the free two week trial a try. During the free trial, you can play in the money tourneys just like a subscriber. When I was playing last night and made the final table I had no one from here to sweat me not that it was a high stakes tourney................but its nice to have someone rooting for ya
