About as short a HU match as you can get

I overnbet the flop - he calls. With that flop and his call I am willing to go broke HU (at this limit).

My only real worry is 55 - but I make the push anyway.

No real strategy question - just a funny hand. Feel free to bag on my play if you feel the need, lol.

Re: About as short a HU match as you can get

heres one for ya. 4 player HU matches. finished in 5 hands.

first off, im not condoning this type of play. this match was just a $100 side bet between friends to see who could finish their match in the least number of hands. i decided to take the all-in, every hand approach. it just so happened to work out for me.

Re: About as short a HU match as you can get

If he doesn't make 2P on the turn, does he ever call all in?

Re: About as short a HU match as you can get

That's the way it goes online. I've had many (probably 15-20 out my last 300+) HU matches decided on the first hand. I've won almost all of them, though lost a few (like my AA cracked, etc.).

Lotto poker at it's finest. Though I don't understand how or why you decided to play it this way. It worked though.

As for the initial post, I'm not sure I would have call the All In on the turn with a pair of Kings. There's still plenty of poker left at those blind levels. NH W16227.

HU poker at its finest, W.

Here's my latest example of play on the very first hand. Guy gets bottom pair on the flop and goes all the way. I was giving him some respect until I got my second pair, but I didn't even have to worry about that.

Re: About as short a HU match as you can get

What I think is funny is when you play against a person who goes all-in every single hand pre-flop. I've had quite a few of these lately. It's so easy to beat them.
