I know it's been a year since they have shut down, and I've kissed this money goodbye, but I was curious to see if anyone else had this problem and if I'm right about it. When they shut down, I had $55 in the step tournaments and $26 in another qualifier. These tournaments were tournaments that I had won and they don't actually put the money in to your account, but instead just let you register for the next one. They kept quite a lot of money if they didn't refund anyone's steps or qualifier entrys. I e-mailed them quite a few times about this, but never got an answer.

I had 40-odd dollars left in my account at Paradise, and they won't issue a check for less than 50. I don't have a net teller account and they cant deposit it to my credit card. So, while it's there, I can't access it and cant play with it. It's not big money for an individual, but if you multiply it by a lot of people, it's adult money.

Maybe you can transfer your Paradise money to someone who still plays there for Paypal or another poker site money. There are some Canadians floating around that still play there, I think. I'm living in the US so I can't do it for you, but it's just a thought.
