Played more online lately

Usually I play about 1,5 to 2 hours daily now, small bankroll so I only play 0.02/0.04 and normally I leave the table with about $.50 to $1.
Nothing fancy, waiting for good cards, play them aggressively, limp with stuff like 97s, pick up dead money from the button. pretty solid poker overall.
Is that a normal profit or more like an Upswing?
Also I'm pretty card dead the last two days, only good hand I had today was one straight in two hours. So it's doesn't look like a upswing to me.

I don't think you have to call 10c-60c profit an upswing.. definitely should be sustainable. Level?

Re: Played more online lately

There's really no way for me to answer this. It's certainly possible to maintain that level but really it's all about you and how you play. There should be plenty of people willing to give you their entire stake at those levels so the BB/hr should be very very large. Of course, the swings will probably be large too since noone is going to fold to a .04 raise.

Keep tracking your rate and make a plan to move up when you've got what you feel you need in the BR to justify it.

Re: Played more online lately

Yeah you're right. Actually I'm more a live poker guy. Also, it looks like I don't really have a point in my first post, I guess.

...oh, and FYP (based on how you described your "waiting for good cards").

Seriously, don't bother trying to steal the blinds at this level. You will get called far too often.

Re: Played more online lately

I never try to steal. Only when I'm on the button and it has been check around I play my position.
but it's funny when you have a guy how mini raises his aces and gets busted by a 75 off siut held in the big blind.

Normally I play NL10, not much better.
I think the key to success here is patience.
but thanks for forwarding my post.
