I'm too dumb to figure out multi-quote.
So yeah, you basically have realized you were taking a shot. If you're not willing to play all the money on the table on ONE HAND, don't bring it. If you're not willing to go broke RIGHT NOW, don't bring it. If you want to grind and grind and grind take your $400 to the .1/.2 game.
Personally, I'm going to take my bit of $400 to the .2/.5 game but I'm crazy like that...
'cause it's fun money. FUN MONEY. (That caps was more for me than you
I don't gamble for a living. I don't even gamble for profit anymore since I went BUSTO. I gamble for the challenge. I want to beat everyone and I'm willing to put my $33.40 up! (Toldya I was busto) I don't really care about this much money (since I'm not homeless and stuff) so there's a certain disconnect between me and the losses.
Once you want to A) Have poker support you in the manner to which you've become accustomed or 2) realize you should make poker a financially independent venture, from which you only withdraw, never deposit.... then, THEN you must worry about bankroll management.
Right up until that point it's just fun money. You can blow it on one hand or you can blow it on strippers and booze. Just don't take it so seriously that it depresses you.
Save that for when you're SERIOUS about poker. Some may never want to be SERIOUS. I'm not sure if I'm one of those anymore.
