Chips: 512 | | | Online play for Macs? I'm interested in getting in on some of these P*s tourneys, but there isn't a client for Macs (or is there)? Or can I play from my browser without having to download a client? Are there any other sites that people use who have Macs? Or do I just have to fire up the useless Dell to play? |

Can US players play for money on any of the others? I haven't searched around on this topic at all, so if its already been covered, feel free to post a link... |

I've been a beta tester for PokerStars' Mac client. It is only for play money right now while they work all the kinks out. Unfortunately, they have been taking FOREVER with it. Who knows when/if it will ever launch.
I have been playing real money at PokerStars on a G4 Mac while running Virtual PC with Windows '98, and on a MacBook (Intel chip) running Windows XP. |

On the horizon, there is an alpha that I'm testing of a native mac client for P*. Another few months and it should be released!

And I wouldn't worry too much about the issues at AP. I think anyone having any super accounts will be playing at stakes way above our level. But despite what I said, I will not play at AP any more, lots of other decent sites to choose from. |

No need for any additional OS licenses (XP or 2000 or vista) like you need with parallels or VMWare. If you want a little more versatility, get VMware Fusion, it will let you run multiple windows OS's and run them in a 'unity' window, which means they run right on the mac desktop, not in a separate window. I've been using both Crossover and Fusion now for a couple of months and they are amazing.
