btw I'm actually much more interested in how 99% shot turns out than mine. I think his might be more of a roller coaster.

once again many thanks to everyone on here. Don't worry though I'll still be posting my (sometimes a little too strong) opinions on strat and what-not all of the time. Plus I'm still waiting on my Dunes Rep. China Clays to come in the mail.

Wow Jim, this is so exciting. I wish you lots and lots of good fortune in both poker and baseball. I hope you enjoy yourself immensely while pursuing both dreams.

Good luck, Jim. And don't forget to choke up for the inside straight. Or something like that.

This is awesome, MJ2K.

I guarantee you that win or lose, you won't be sorry that you took your cuts in both "professions" instead of working for The Man.

Best of luck!

Re: Last thread started from this cubicle

MightyJim,

I would suggest focusing on the poker. If you really had the talent to make it in baseball, they would have discovered you already. No joke. There are very, very good players who will never get a shot, I mean guys in tripple A level.

But you need to play higher. No pro worth his salt played at your limits after a few months. And for God's sake, play real live poker. How unfulfilling of an existence it would be to be an online dork pro. really, think about it. At least live you have some social interaction.

I know you will likely argue the opposite of what I say, but trust me, you should consider these things.

Clip

Re: Last thread started from this cubicle

Don't know how I missed this one on Friday, but best of luck to you in both endevours.

I would love to play pro-poker but realize it is likely not "in the cards" for me. I wish nothing but the best to someone with the opportunity, the right situation in life, and the correct mindset to make it work.

BTW, I like how you are filling your days, so to speak, with playing ball. Can't wait to read that blog.
