Tough one as I also thought he might have hit the full house on the river.
He hit the 2nd nuts on the turn and then on the river he hit the nuts....

I totaly missed the the possible boat... Live and learn.

eh, that's how it goes. but there are some scare cards you have to train yourself to NEVER miss. they're easy to spot and legitamitely scary.
-third card to the flush
-pair the board.

straight cards are easy to miss, and if he hits a set or two pair...well that's impossible to catch. but the classic scare-cards...you just can't afford to not notice them.

Good tips... The 3rd card to the flush hit me... I had the nuts at that point, its moot but I had it, and I doubt he would have folded in that spot with the str8 flush draw and the 2nd nuts (on the turn). The river I wasnt even thinking about the boat or str8 flush but again I reraised cause I thought I had the best of it. 6 handed who would have thought KQd was a possibility?? I know I didnt.

Re: This is what happens when you try & slowplay...

River play was bad....other than that I might have raised the turn more...but you'd still get called with second nuts behind you...river call and hand over, no raising.

If the river did anything but pair, then sure push it...worrying about the 3 possible straight flushes isn't worth lying it down....
