One is just basically a newer version of the other. The key feature of both of these is UGA resolution (1600x1200) - 4 tables no overlap per monitor.

When I am feeling really degenerate, I fire up the 17" UXGA laptop (1920x1200) and 12 table.

Honestly for the price of a 24" you could get (2) 22" inch monitors and set it up like this.

Go for the Samsung 24". You can get 4 tables on it without overlapping as it does 1920 x 1200. Cost in Canada is just under $500, should be less in US. I have an Acer 26" with same resolution and it is great for 4 tables.

Jojo, I would not hesitate to get one. It is well worth it. I would go with a widescreen because it is easier to get 6 tables onto it I believe. May want to double check though. I actually use my laptop screen to display the lobby to manage waiting lists, spot juicy games, etc.
