My son receive email from FTP that said he would be receiving money back into his account due to the fact that FTP found some of his opponents were BOTS. They will give him a final figure once the investigation is finished and they have determine how many hands were involve.

At least it seems like FTP is doing something.

yeah Crazy Mike, "gatorademike" on 2p2, help discover the most high profile case of bots on FTP. He outed them on his website (he's a little nutty btw) then some fellow players joined in the investigation and FTP did the rest of the work. For the most part they were all playing mid-high stakes HU LHE. They started refunding money last week.

Sounds great that they refund the money. Hmmm.. Got to find a list of those bots: if I win - I win, and if I loose - I get it back

Is this a continuation of the story that broke a while back where someone figured out there was a bot at his table and was taking its chips until the owner noticed and started playing back? I think he found 2 others as well that had the same patterns.

It's good they finally did/are doing something about this.

Evidently it was more prevalent in the $200 NL games.

As long as they stay away from my $50 NL action I'll be happy. If/when I move up, I'd hate to deal with it.
