Chips: 47 | | | Sportsbook.com.....real poker or video game? I've received two free money offers from them, therefore I will play. Never deposited any money on the site, but have withdrawn cashola(yes, I did get a check).
Anyone else play there? I have a feeling it isn't a random number generator picking cards...too crazy. Every flop has a strange texture...and people always seem to have a piece of it, usually 2 people have great hands (set vs. set or straight vs. nut flush draw) it's too crazy not to be coincidence. I've pretty much figured that's how it is so I play it that way. I received some "gold chips" to play in tournies yesterday, first tourney I hit a set from the BB and a guy dealt AA first hand loses to me... Later I have KdJd have top pair(J's) with 4 flush draw on the flop and a back door straight draw, another guy with QhJh goes all in and catches a 2 outer to knock me down to a few hundred under original buy-in, so still in good shape. A few hands later I'm dealt 66 and the flop comes 9,8,6 I bet out trying to push out hte draws get 1 caller, it's checked on the turn, river brings an 8 giving me a fh....sure enough other guy had 99.
It's just bizarre the hands that happen on that site, I'm not sure I've ever seen an ace high win...always some kind of hand happening. I played J,10 in a second tourney, AQ flop...and I just thought, ok...this is where they pop my K in ...sure enough, turn was a king....another big hand won....too crazy. I lost that one as well on a great hand...with a nuttier hand above mine.
I'll play until the chips are used and hopefully I get some cash and hit their BJ tables...that's where I turned my $10 before into $100+ in 5 minutes.
Poker on this site seems scripted, gamelike...not poker like. Wondering if anyone else has had the same experiences.

Seems like every hand is scripted, best way I can describe it...you're just never sure if all the actors are following the plan (I play tighter, since I'm waiting for some major twist on the river, but also realize the players suck as much as me)

Not sure how I cleared the bonuses last time....I took the $10 they gave me, doubled it at the cash table (maybe a few hours of play), then hit the BJ tables and quickly turned it to $100+, and cashed out...and they sent a check...less a bogus transaction fee, but the money left was real.

...and the next hand, two fullhouses.....
