=====================================

Is this an easy decision very early (2nd hand) of this 6-max SNG? I made my decision in about 2 seconds.

Sorry if this is a completely ridiculous question....

*edit*
Also, is it bad form to not change the players names in these HHs? I've never really posted them before....

i would probably fold, no reason to get in a arce for all your chips that earlt, and I would have to imagine he has a pair.

getting nearly 2:1, at those stakes? i call most of the time and expect to see AQ+, 77+ much more often than AA/KK.

Re: Is This An Easy Decision Early On?

2nd question first. I don't think it matters what name is used for the players.

As to the main question, I think the proper thing is fold and outplay him later. But I am no tournament player and I would call and be elminated when he shows pocker pairs of some kind.

Like dad604, I am no tournament player either, but I'm calling here. His range seems wide enough you're ahead a fair amount of the time.

Well, I'm not at all surprised that you got it right here. He had AQo and I almost doubled up. You know what they say about hindsight, but this is like 5th or 6th best hand, right? AA and KK are the only hands I'm really worried about since it's basically a coinflip (or better for me) against any other hand...or is this incorrect?

if he told you he had QQ you would call instantly. so yeah, you welcome any other hand.

Re: Is This An Easy Decision Early On?

I've already read the outcome, so that being said it was an easy call.

Seriously, 6 handed turbo (the stakes), after your reraise, I think it's an easy push. I originally put him on a pair TT-QQ's. After that, like you posted, I'm at least hoping for a coin flip. Quick double up and hopefully, I should make the $$$.

Then again he could have had Aces or Kings and I'm playing at another table new.

The better Q would be, did you cash?

Since you asked, I took it down. HU seemed to take just short of an eternity. It probably didn't help that we were only at level 4 (I'm pretty sure) when we got to heads up.

Re: Is This An Easy Decision Early On?

I'd rather be pushing here than calling an all-in and seeing a PP.
