Chips: 1,309 | | | On-line Poker Etiquette Question So I became extrememly annoyed last night in a $10+$1 one table SNG. After a fairly long tourney, I knock out the third player after he lets me stick around and get two pair on the turn. We start out even in chips and I fairly quickly build a 2:1 advantage. Then he types, "I've gotta get going." And moves all-in after I call at 100/200.
He then folds the next hand into my AK.
I type, "I thought you had to go."
He says, "Those cards were unplayable."
He then proceeds to either go all-in or fold. I keep folding to his all-ins.
He starts "telling" me what he's folding. "34" "Q 9" etc.
I type, "Don't tell me; show me."
I got really pissed about this. First he says he has to go, but no, it does;t seem so because he being selective with his hands. Second, he starts representing what his hands are, but who cares what he says? If I don;t call on the river, I'm always BSing what hand I had.
What do guy think? if some one says they have to go and need to hurry, I think they should be going all-in every hand, not selectively. I certainly think it poor form to call out your hand. Am I just steaming since he pulled off not 1, not 2 but 3 bad beats on me to stay alive and then cripple me? |

Ditto to Aces Full - there is no on line etiquette. |

Stating they have to go is simply a way to get you to think they are pushing AI just to end their game - most likely not the case. Block the person's chat - silence is golden

Options: - Ignore him.
- Do it back to him.
- Turn chat off
- Devise ingenious method to remotely electrocute people thru their keyboards. Let me know if you figure this one out.

Plus, I don't think I've ever told the truth at poker table (live or online) regarding my cards, my play, etc. |

Or he thought he'd have busted out by now and needs to go to Home Depot so he can get back before the start of the next tournament. Somebody inevitably calls him, and he flips over AA.
