Chips: 20 | | | more than one acct from same 'puter on stars? Is there any way to have more than one account on a single computer at poker stars? Without violating the terms of service?
The wifey really wants to play but I don't want to buy another 'puter or get kicked from 'stars. |

There are folks here that play online with spouses so they should know. Actually, a couple of them even play in the CT tournies together, obviously not on the same computer but probably from the same ip address. |

I forgot I had a P* acct and tried to sign up with my "online stuff" email address...I was denied due to an account already associated with this email address.

1. no referral bonus
2. can't play at same table |

The wifey really wants to play but I don't want to buy another 'puter or get kicked from 'stars. | Yes, we've had no problem. Actually, there's just one copy of the PStars client software on the computer, and any PStars user can sign in. We do it all the time.
When we are both playing, of course that is on two separate computers. PStars will not let us play together in small tournaments, only 180 players or more. But we have been put at the same table many times in 180 SnGs or othert large tournaments. Never tried to play cash vs. each other.
And we can also play in private tournies like CT with no problem, regardless of size. |

I e-mailed support and they replied to me saying it was a security feature to prevent multiple accounts created by a single user. They updated my account to allow her to sign up.
p.s. They did stipulate in the e-mail that we could not play at the same money games/tourneys which I expected. |

BTW we can play together in tourneys with 180 or more players, and in private tourneys. We'll play those 180s and many times get seated at the same table at some point. We usually have a last-longer bet, payable with sex. (Yeah right....she wants cold hard cash instead!) |
