There is such a great volume of checks, and evaluating all of them would be so tedious, that it's impossible to monitor them. EPassporte and the big online poker rooms have figured this out and are taking advantage of it. |

Is it also really 'instant' as touted? Do you feel safe having your checking account information linked to P* as well? I'm still a bit jaded and dismayed a year after the fact, but getting ripped off in my checking, P* and Neteller (P* linked to Neteller linked to checking) acccounts a year ago really did a number on me.

But yes, it is instand and totally fee free. |

It's easy for us to say that this method is secure and only could be broken in the most unusual of circumstances -- when you've had those "most unusual" circumstances happen to you.
But I have no problem with PS and FTP having my checking account number. I've used this a few times recently to add more money to each of them when I could get a deposit bonus. It is instant in that you can use the money right away on the site. But it takes a day or three to clear your bank. Also, for ten days (?) you can only use the money in your account, you cannot do an eCheck then transfer that money to someone else right away. And no fees either. |
