Chips: 510 | | | Which PSO promos are easiest? Have you used Boogster? Pokersavvy? My poker is rusty and I need to start playing again. I'm going to take the PSO promo path. Right now they have 8 promos available to USA players. Which ones are the easiest to clear? By far the hardest one looks like Carbon Poker.
Any of you used boogster for promos?

Not sure which one is easiest for US players, as I've only paid attention to the others. Do you have any accounts already? And since there are so few sites that accept US players, maybe you should get rake back instead of bonus for the sites that offer it?
It also depends on what game and what level you play. |

you can play a LOT of tables. They clear best at 1/2, or did when I was clearing them. |

They both offer rake back, so remember to consider if you want that instead. A shame that all the sites that offer bonus to US sites have such high demands, so they definitely clear faster at higher limits. I just cleared a bonus where the hand only needed to be raked, so I cleared it playing NL5. |

Since I'm playing the cheapo tables while I brush the dust off, it will take me a lot longer than if I was playing 10-20. I can live with that. It's like lifting weights - I'd rather use less weight and get my fundamentals right than to have bad form and lift too much.
I'm just curious which promos aren't too bad and which ones are really bad (time-wise). To me, ultimatebet and fulltilt look decent, pokerstars looks ok, and carbon poker will take for-e-ver. Just getting some additional input is all. |

Full Tilt shouldn't be hard either. At FTP, you can play microlimit and still clear. I did it at the lowest PL O8 level.
Looking at the requirements for Carbon, it does not seem too hard. I am planning to sign up at Carbon next. I'll say it is about middle of the road. |

Impossible for me to clear where I'm starting (.25-.50) since you need .50 rake for the hand to count and at those tables the max rake is .40!
If you play 2-4 or higher limits, though, you only need 100 raked hands to complete the promo, which is cake. |

I have been on sites where 2/4 and higher tables seldom have any action. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
