No - I am Whataboutj - I folded. I know play money is bad but this was at least for some money. 1st place is like $35 - not terrible for a 10FPP tourney

Re: Gotta luv large FPP tournies

Meh, I saw similar stuff in cash tables yesterday (Party poker beginners tables, NL5). One of my favorites was when one maniac pushed from MP, the guy after him insta-called. Pusher made a set of sevens and the caller had a pair of ones. The caller bitched about it non-stop for about 15 minutes and about how rigged it is. Then he got more money and pushed several times pre-flop. Unfortunately I was card-dead for the whole time. My game has been a bit off and I have been stacked in situations where a fold should have been easy, but I'm still up 6 buy-ins in about 1k hands, and I should clear about 13-28 buy-ins in bonus this weekend. Ah, the ease of bonus whoring

This also made me lol:

Re: Gotta luv large FPP tournies

Actually I don't see the huge problem in the hand. I assume you mean the guying calling allin with 44. A push by a ss isn't nearly that threatening, he figures he might simply be a race and he getting just less than 3:1 on his call. I don't like the call of the all-in with 1 left to act though.

As for AA losing to 44, run of the mill stuff.

Re: Gotta luv large FPP tournies

Yeah I had to reread that HH a few times to make sure I wasn't missing something.

The limp is bad, but expected at this level. But once the action comes back around, like mentioned above, it's only 2k more to win 8k, basically an automatic call without action behind you. And I think you can be pretty sure the second limper isn't playing. You could probably even push and get it heads up the vast majority of the time.

Re: Gotta luv large FPP tournies

I was talking about the 44 sucking out on the AA mostly, but the all in call by the 44 is another thing. I guess I was amused even more because those types of hands were happening all turney. It had happened so much that I was still laughing about a different hand when the one I posted occured.
