Re: thank god for the donks

A bot is not a bad guess. I've read about bots that made really dumb plays while their masters weren't paying attention.

Re: thank god for the donks

Total bluff. Turn bet smells real weak, half-representing an Ace. River bet to push you off hoping the 3rd heart scares you. Then stupid fold to save a few bucks and save the embarrassment. Pair o' 6s?

The more I think of this hand, the more I believe he had a busted straight draw. If he had a small pair he would have called the $4, why would you fold unless you had air. If you bluff with nothing, why call the remaining $4?

QJ suited.

Re: thank god for the donks

Maybe he outthought himself. ie "this guy's raise can't possibly be a bluff, since he knows I'll be calling with any hand - I'd better fold my weak Ace".
Or, as mentioned, he has nothing. He's not a donk to fold if he's 100% sure he's behind (as he likely was).

If he has a weak Ace he's calling the $4 bet. Either a busted straight draw or the "misclick" but I don't believe it was that. Who knows, but only the toes knows for sure.
