You may have seen this on other forums but if you didn't, check this out.
It's kinda obvious now that I think about it, but you can replace the jpg and png files in Full Tilts program files folder with you own creations. I tried other peoples card and table designs but I didn't like them.
So being the aspiring graphic designer that I am, I decided to make my own.
Here's a couple screenshots......
Note the Bicycle card backs.. (grabbed from someone else's)
That's me. Obv, it's only visible on my system.
Gradients galore
Here's how it's done. (You're doing this at your own risk. I offer no support and accept no liability if something gets messed up)
To change the deck
Make sure Full Tilt isn't running.
Go to C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements
Delete cards0-cards6 files from the Elements folder. Make a copy of these in case you want to revert to the originals.
Drag and drop the new deck files (all 7 available if you like. PM me.) into that folder and make sure they are named cards0-cards6 in corresponding size like the originals. Launch Full Tilt and open a table to confirm that it's worked. Change decks like you normally would. The deck choices should be the ones in the files you just added.
If you're PhotoShop savy you can make your own. I just took the largest of the 7 card files, cut out the back design. Then filled it with a gradient or a resized back design pattern from a scan. Then I had my 4 back designs looking nice, I change the image size 6 times based on the files size of the originals. (e.g. 588x420) (I believe it must be in RGB mode or will lose a lot of quality)
To change the table/background
Make sure Full Tilt isn't running.
Go to C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Elements
Locate the file called Table and delete it. Make backups if you want to revert.
Go to C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Table\Backgrounds
You'll see a folder for each background (Jungle, Final Table, Outer Space, Plain, etc.) In any or all of the folders, delete the files called table. Make backups of these files if you want to revert.
Drag and drop your new background (any of below pics will work) into the folder and be sure the file is named table so Full Tilt will recognize it.
Launch Full Tilt and open a table and select a background.
To change the chips
Basically same as the change cards instructions.
Change avatar
You'll have to get a file cropped and resized and the background removed (transparent). Replace it with which ever avatar you like. It will only replace one emotion, Normal, Happy, Angry or Confused, however, you could make 4 avatars. I chose the pilot cuz it's rarely used, I find.
Here's some of the pics. You can find other mods on the net. A lot of deck mods. Most of which are 4 color with not very visible suits.
There are Kem Copag Modiano etc card back ones available (designed by others) but again, they're on 4 color decks. I'm going to eventually make those back for a standard deck.
WSOP chips designed by someone other than me. They're not 100% accurate as you can see, but I like them.
(Bellagio could be a possible future design)
Tables "designed" by me.
The bet and pot amounts don't show up well on this one and the graphic in the middle is a little chopped but, it was a real quickie.
This one I designed as per a request by a friend on another forum. (a.k.a. not my idea lol)
Here's a rar'ed file that contains all my mod files. The Bike deck, the chips and some table/backgrounds.
