I am considering using poker-edge. If anyone has used it I would be grateful for your opinion on how useful you feel it is. If anyone else is interested in checking it out go to http://www.poker-edge.com/freedownload.php. There are a couple great videos that explain how it works, and it seems fairly easy to use in comparison to some of the other trackers i have seen. If there is one anyone feels is better please give your recommendations. Thanks.

I believe it might be one of the program that is ban by some sites such as Party Poker. Check with your poker site before using.

No it works at over 100 sites including party poker. It actually tracks all these sites all the time. I loged on and it had information about me from playing on Bodog. (only real money or tournaments though) I would say that evryone should log in and see if they are in there also. It seems like a very user friendly tracker.

I know quite a few players were warn by Party if they use the program again that their accounts would be frozen. The problem is that the subscription give you a database of hand histories and that is against the T&C of Party. Apparently Party software can detect what 3rd party program you are running. That is why PT/PA are so careful not to include certain features in their program.

I am not certain but I am think that Star is another site that does not allow it.

What Poker Edge does is datamining all those sites and sell you a subscription for that service. When it first came out a couple of years ago, I was thinking of paying them but when I heard that players were being warn by Party to stop using it, I quickly change my mind.

Well its official, I'm done using the service. Too much risk for the reward. My buddy, who I referred to PE, kept using the software and now had his account closed and funds seized. He's real happy with me as you can imagine. To those on the party network be careful they really do close accounts and seize the funds in your acct. He had 400 they will not return. If there are any drastic updates that improve detection or party changes their stance I'll be a loyal user again.

Wow thats pretty serious, thank for the info. I don't yse party poker myself but I will check into it so that I make sure there aren't any problems with the ones I do use.
