Chips: 205 | | | tracking software okay, I've never used it, but looked at several different sites. Does anyone currently use some type of software for playing online, and if so, what site is the best? PokerTracker? SitnGo wizard ???? Or is it all just a waste of money?
thanks |

I can't say that I've done that much analysis with it on where my leaks are, but just the table tracking, and apponent history, I think, make it well worth the price.

I have PT loading hands like every 5mins at P* and FTP. Just make sure you have your HH written to disk. Not sure about other sites. |

Your mileage will vary depending on your computer setup. I am using AMD X2 4600, 2g ram, sata hdd, Geforce 7600 video. |

It will also help you analyze some weaknesses for you to work on. Does it, while playing let you know if you should fold a hand, or raise or call or???
thanks.. |

Chips: 1,480 | | | Re: tracking software Player type is only generated from results ring games, tourneys have the problem of variable # of players requiring different starting hand requirements. You can set minimum number of hands collected for a player before PT will rate a player, after that you can set PT to rerate after every import.
The add on .pdf file (the real documentation) explains how to use the parts of the system that help you plug leaks in your game.
As for the 'what to do' advice, it is a 'Tracker' not a 'Seer'. That said, when you are sitting at a ring game and you have stats on all your table mates, you start to see what you need to do based on position and their percentages.
As for multi-tabling, any of the built in hand readers have worked well enough for me. UBs external reader makes multi-tabling a bit tricky as if forces a 'window pop' for each hand-history window at the end of a hand for a table. So this causes keyboard focus to be difficult with more than 3 tables. Quote:
