OK...this will likely sound dumb...

but I haven't played online for $ since the Demon Spawn Senator Frist backhandedly snuck that POS legislation on the Safe Ports Act.

I have accounts at FT and UB and want to reload them (because I am tired of playing the fake money crap against fake money idiots).

How are you guys loading accounts these days? Just curious what the best method is. Was looking for minimal trouble (like going 2nd or 3rd party if possible).

Again, sorry for what I beleive is gonna end up a laugh-fest at my stoooopidness.

Thanks for understanding.

Epassporte. It's the new Neteller, but with fees! All the poker rooms seem to be taking this now. You can depost and withdraw with it, which is nice.

Not a stupid question my friend! In fact, after UIGEA, it's an excellent question.

Re: OK...this will likely sound dumb...

I started up my FTP account with a Gift2go Visa and it worked just fine. But I read that many of these cards quit working a few weeks ago, so I would test with a small amount. Green Dot and many other prepaids cards did NOT work.

I signed up for ePassporte and it looks like it will work OK. They say some credit cards won't work, but you can withdraw from a US bank account. There's a small fee and it takes 7 business days -- they take your money out early but you don't get to use it for a week or so.

Re: OK...this will likely sound dumb...

I use ePassporte. The fees suck, but you're going to pay a fee no matter what now. I use my debit card. The transfer is instant. So, I can try to recoup my tilt losses faster than ever!!!

Re: OK...this will likely sound dumb...

Many players find cashing out a hassle. Ask here and also at the chipboard.com and I am sure you can find someone that would transfer funds to your poker account for a PayPal tansfer to their account if you cover the fees. That's how I reloaded my account the last two times....

How about the old fashion way, cheque via snail mail or Western Union. Cashing out via snail mail is good also.

If I ever manage to cash out again this will be my method.

AFA redepositing, if you use one of the prepaid visa cards and it doesn't work you can always spend that $100 on groceries.

Re: OK...this will likely sound dumb...

Epassporte.

Since the fees are higher than Neteller was, I now load a minimum of $100 at a time. Doesn't seem worth it for less.
