Fold AK in a tourney, on the short stack?

I don't think I would want to be in three ways in an allin pot with AK.

Not to be results oriented, but here's what happened:

Co raised and called the allin w KQo
Button raiser had 88
I had AKo.

All things considered, i felt pretty good there, chances are I'd have been racing with the 88 if the CO had just folded. Alas, flop came 8xx and I was drawing dead.
I wish I had thought a bit longer before calling, truth is I saw the AK and was just getting ready to push w it vs the CO's steal which I knew was coming, failed to take time to think about folding and moving up.
I know if I had folded and the button had had AQ/AJs there I would have been sick.
