Good job! | What is the play like in these tournies? Are you playing a basic tight/aggro style, or what? Should I be playing in them?
Why don't you play in (and pwn) the CT weekly tournies?
Seriously nice work! |

(aka 3rd time's a charm) It's pretty typical of $5-20 SNGs of smaller fields...I definitely start playing fairly basic tight/agg...as with any of these relatively larger fields, you have to win your fair share of races and what not, but there are many bluffers early and keeping an eye on these guys, you can pick off lots of chips with medium strength hands. Of course this is only based on the 3 tourneys posted here, but I was able to get chips early in all 3 in a similar fashion. Hardly factual...just my feeling.
You should definitely play them. They're fun!
I would say thursday night CT players are far better than the average PS field. I can learn lots from so many of these guys/gals. I don't play many thursday CT tourneys anymore. Just timing/scheduling. Besides, I barely played the minimum number when I was with the first TNT team, and even though we won, I stunk up the joint and contributed the absolute least
I did squeak into a QTOC once...and if I remember correctly I got schooled by bolgenmod. Quote:

those 5 and 10 minute level games are brutal. to make a first and two seconds is impressive - and a nice payday for sitting at home (assuming that is were youre playing).
ive been playing alot of the deep stack games. cant seem to get past 26th recently though.
keep it up dude.
btw, are you in the houston area? |

We're moving to Houston very soon. Quote:

As for looking for them, they simply show up in red highlights with $XXX guaranteed. Not sure what the schedule is as the same ones do not appear at the same time daily. Might be info on the website but I haven't checked. Quote:
