While I was typing the above post I was registered for one of these. As I hit "submit" i was like "hmm, what's taking so long?"
Checked the tourney lobby to see that there were 9/10 registered for "APPT Manila 500 FPP turbo to 5000 FPP Sat." I just got unregistered in time . | | Sponsored Links | |

There do seem to be times they don't run, I don't fully understand it. They are certainly running now. If you uncheck 'show upcoming/registering only' you should see a whole bunch of them running. | Thanks Mike--I had missed the whole thing about them being a satellite.
Not sure what's going on at 2:00 am PST but I played against people who know how to play.....well, except for the 95h UTG that called my 6x BB raise from the SB position with AJ after it had folded around to me. Flop was J55. I bet, BB (who had also called) raised, and UTG pushed. I called and BB called. BB had KJo. Thank you mister 95! Oh well. |

I'm BB, 4 limps around to a button raise so I push all in with "the hammer". Button calls with AQ sooooooted, and of course I take it down. Played smart from then out and everyone kept thinking I was a maniac because of that bad play and I was getting paid off overbetting premium hands.
Finally took down my second one in that tourney. Believe I am now 2 for 9. Turned the first $11 into $56 with a 6th place in a $10+1 Razz tourney with about 180 players. We'll see what I can do with this one. |

Won one yesterday, I'm 1 for 2 on these things so far. Best moment of the tourney, UTG limps (for 30) I'm in MP with AJo and I bump it to 90, get 4 or 5 callers including UTG. Flop comes down KQ10. Checks to me and I made a pot sized bet, expecting one of the callers to do something stupid and push with a sooted K or something. UTG doesn't disappoint, he pushes, I instantly push and the cards flip. He's got J9o and gets knocked down to almost nothing when all is said and done. Then he starts whining and complaining about P* and about it being a cooler, etc. LOL. I had to tell him when he got knocked out that calling a raise UTG at a full table with J9o is not a swift move.

Very good value in my opinion. | Another great value!
