Chips: 246 | | | Sportsbook.com horror story -- anybody else?? Gotta share this horror story - wanted to know if anyone else had a similar problem. In case you don't know, Sportsbook.com is a gambling/poker site. I got involved with them when they offered me a sweet bonus for signing up as an ex Paradise Poker player. Anyway, I had a rare great month in April and the first week of May requested a withdrawal via wire transfer of $625. (Gonna buy myself a sweet chip set!!) I got an e-mail response saying it would take 7-10 business days. 10 days go by, no money. I requested an investigation and got a nice apology, with an explanation that the company had severed ties with their transfer processor. This happened, coincidently, the day before my withdrawal request. So now the money's back in my account (shocker!) and they suggest I request a check via express courier, if I still want to withdraw. LOL Anyway I do that the next day and get an e-mail saying I should have a confirmation of payment being sent out in, can you guess, 7-10 business days!!! Of course, that time has since come and gone and still no check, no confirmation notice and when I again requested an explanation I was told they would initiate an investigation and respond back with their findings. That was five days ago! Needless to say, I'm done with this site, but I wanted to post this as a warning to all and to solicit any similar experiences, advice, suggestions, shoulders to cry on, etc., etc.
Thanks for reading this; sorry about the length. Hope I included all relevant info.

Hope all works out in the end. Patience, grasshopper.

The reason I went with the wire transfer was they claimed it was their "preferred method" for withdrawals, and there was no fee unless you requested more than one withdrawal per month. Also, they do hit you with a fee for the check. Of course, now they're offering the check for free, but that's little solice when there's no check being sent.

I guess I'm calling it a horror story because I've been waiting almost two months for my payout. I've never had this problem with any other online poker site and I surely don't want anyone else getting screwed.

Must be the same network.
