Re: My first Royal Flush: At long last!

Hey I just wanted to say congrats on the Royal Flush. Thats awesome. I just got mine last week in spades and the cool thing is last night on Bodog I flopped a straight flush in spades. Both in no limit holdem games.

Re: My first Royal Flush: At long last!

Thanks for the comments people. Flopping it was kind of cool, it would of been perfect if it was in spades!

Re: My first Royal Flush: At long last!

Congrats Blake, I've only ever had one also. It was on P* playing cash NL. Unfortunately, I didn't win much. I think it was about $8 from a guy who was all in before the flop with me. No one at the table even said nice hand, not even after I mentoned it was my first.

I'm wondering if I should put an asterisk by mine since it was in Omaha rather than Hold'em. I guess if your dealt A-A-K-K double suited or something similar i.e. A-A-Q-Q, A-A-J-J etc in Omaha your've got two ways of making a Royal.

Nah, it's still a royal. Now if you were playing 5 card draw with 2's and 3's wild, you probably would have been beaten by 5 of a kind. LOL.

No asterisk necessary. It counts. And it's awesome regardless of the game.
