I was playing the $1 turbo's, so I will step up a little and be patient in the beginning to see how I do. I didn't last long enough to know they usually last less than an hour. This is good for me also as sometimes I don't have a lot of time.

Actually there is a reason people push so much in the Turbos - ICM/chip equity and fold equity. If you are going to play a turbo, playing "tight is right" or ABC poker will get you consitently kicked out at the bubble. If you are profitable at regular donkaments, learn ICM/chip EV vs. hand EV and you will probably increas your $ per hour.
