Besides the nice hand, is this what we should expect if you show up at legends place Saturday?

Now I'm afraid to play a hand against you.

I just got home from work, and took down another one of these mofos.
Was excited that I broke 300, only to see that Jojo is over 400 already!
Very nice work sir!

I try to be as quiet as possible playing live. Especially around people as big as Dan and Andrew (dolomite).

Brett - don't take criticism so hard.

JoJo - don't be so damn abrasive.

Re: June $3+.25 NLHE - 45 Man Turbo SNG Challenge

I tried my hand at a few more of these, and I was doing 4 at a time. Yuck.
I know I saw neweraexst at one of my tables, but I had chat turned off. If you were chatting, I was not being rude, I just have the info tab on. I can barely keep up with 4 tables let alone looking at and replying to chat.
Anyway - I'm not sure I could keep up with you guys in these.
How many have you guys done in total to get those many wins?? You have to be doing 30+, yes??? I like the idea of the challenge, but playing too many of these turbo's would burn me out.

Anyway - gl to you guys.

Re: June $3+.25 NLHE - 45 Man Turbo SNG Challenge

Hey Jeff, some people have played quite a few more than others. Here is the latest data that I have (as of 6/26) courtesy of Sharkscope.

Code:
Player # of Games Ttl Profit (incl. rake) ROI
solberg1905 68 $103.00 46.61%
thejojobinks 72 $108.00 46.15%
littlebu 105 $36.75 10.77%
W16227 41 ($4.25) -3.19%
bigmike78 71 ($53.75) -23.29%

Re: June $3+.25 NLHE - 45 Man Turbo SNG Challenge

OMG - 105 of these. I don't think I could. I did 4 at a time twice. Maybe just 2 running all the time would be better. Starting another every time you finish one.
In the 2 sets of 4 I did, I finished 5th as best in one set and 6th in the other. They were such a luck fest at the end.
I just don't see myself as wanting to play that much. If you wanted to do this challenge again with a cap on the max number of games to be played, I'd look at it, otherwise I'll just be an observer and try to play a few just for kicks.

You guys are sick

Re: June $3+.25 NLHE - 45 Man Turbo SNG Challenge

Since there was no cap my strat has been to gamboool it up more early and if I bust start another one. I have mostly 4 tabled these sometimes 6. I also am going for quantity over quality since only the best 10 scores are counted and the average finish isn't a consideration.

i don't think there's anything wrong at all with this strategy.

i go the other way though. i six table and play tight. it often gets down to pushbot mode, but i'm better at that then the average guy in these things...
