Quack Quack!!!

I guess since BW is no longer here someone needs to do the daily or in my case nightly brag posts.

I've been having a good run lately playing the $5 SNG's on Poker Stars. I'm not getting rich by playing these limits but I've had some good (small) fortune lately, similar to MacGrad's post. Though he was "superhot" (6 cashes in a row), I've cashed in the last 5 out of 6. I'm still in the red but I'm getting there according to Sharkscope.

So enough babble about my minor accomplishments.

Playing in the $5 SNG I noticed one player (BLS4LIFE) that I had notes on who has been doing well in the higher SNG's ($30 & up) playing in the $5 SNG's. Maybe he had a bad week or was just trying something new with certain hands. He was aggressive early in the game but settled down soon after.

Well to the point, it's heads up between the chipleader Primetimeunh and Irish Se7en. He leads 10,600 to 2900. I'm figuring that second place isn't that bad but I'm not just going to give him my chips.

I try to act brave during this battle, I put on my BraveHeart make up but instead of looking tough, I look more like Tammy Fay Baker (oh the horror). Damn that didn't work, I better try something new. Well it goes back and forth, he's raising almost every hand and I'm folding. I'm cursing myself, telling self, "stand up be a man", "fight back!" Doing this while looking in the mirror. Instead of sounding gruff, it's more meek and now I sound like Stuart Smalley. I need help and if I don't fight back I will be blinded off. What would Woody do? No not that Woody, Woody Harrelson. Where's Coach when you need him. The way I'm going, I may need some advice or counseling from Fraiser Crane.

Well enoughs enough, I fight back and get some chips then this hand comes along (hand 1of2). What a fortuitous flop I would say.

Well now we have a game!

It goes back and forth like a rep discussion. We exchanged chips back and forth for 55 hands. It was actually a good H.U., I can't say I played it perfectly but in the end it all worked out.

Now the Quack Quack hand. Well of course I'm dealt the Ducks. I have to raise and hey lets get aggressive it has worked so far. Let's raise it to... well I might as well just post it. I'm not saying I played this hand well but it worked out in the end.

Total pot 13100 | Rake 0

Seat 6: Irish Se7en (button) (small blind) showed [2s 2h] and won (13100) with a full house, Deuces full of Fours

I could have easily laid this had down if I raised it a normal amount but I wanted to gamble. It worked out and I ended up busting him 2 hands later.

So that's my Quack Quack story, hope you enjoyed it.

Signing off,

Irish Se7en
