As a baseball player, I know the last thing you want to do is mess with a streak... however, I've been on a heater the past couple of days.

Cashed in 8 of my last 9 SnG, and am clawing my way back to break-even in tournaments -- according to Sharkscope, I'm "Superhot"!

BTW: the streak started when I was down to my last $13. I basically said "Screw it -- I'm done with online for awhile as soon as I go broke", and bought into a tourney. Now, I'm

How did your play change when you decided to "screw it?" Did you play a little bit bolder but still make smart plays, or have you just been wild and lucky? You're probably playing better if you've won 8 games, so figure out what it is and don't stop!

What level of tournaments have you had this streak in ? 6.50 Turbos or 10+1 regular? Or something else?

Some answers:

Other than the original $13 tournament, I played mainly $6 turbos, with some $1-$2 Cash Games.

After cashing in 4 of 5 (or something like that), I decided to do the "take the winnings and step up" strategy, and played a $12 6-max turbo. Came in 2nd, so figured I'd play a $15 for the fun of it. Have played 4 $15s, and have a first, two 2nds, and a 3rd... and will probably stay at the $15s until the streak ends.

Has my play changed? I don't believe so; however, I don't have any of the PokerTracker-type programs to let me know for sure. I would characterize my play as tight-neutral (not really aggressive or passive), in order to "get respect" for later in the game. I did notice one bad thing, though -- once I looked at my Sharkscope rating and saw I was "Superhot", I've become a bit more "protective" of that ranking... last tournament, I was almost playing more to keep that status than to win the game...

Can someone answer me a question, though? I've only played the 4 $15 SnGs, cashed in all 4, but Sharkscope's ROI chart has be at -20%... meanwhile, the $6 point seems to be accurate. How does Sharkscope calculate ROI, or do I not have a big enough sample set for the higher buyin level?

You know Mac...I would have said that you were "Superhot" after you made it to the Garage for the NE Regional #2, but that would kind of make me look like I have sexual preference issues and I really don't want to go there....so how about I say your just "hot"....
