Brag Post (sorry :( )

I played a few low NLHE SNG's tonight and played fairly well. No Donks hands which result in a win on this one. In my other post I typed that I can't complain about bad beats anymore and I had one in tis game. The Table was very loose in the beginning and I had yet to raise a hand. After the 22nd hand is dealt I look down ( well really to my left on the monitor) and see AsAc. Maybe I'll get some chips with it, we'll see. Here's what happened:

PokerStars Game #9971455493: Tournament #50568365, $5.00+$0.50 Hold'em No Limit - Level III (25/50) - 2007/05/18 - 00:07:31 (ET)
Table '50568365 1' 9-max Seat #7 is the button
Seat 1: cw140162 (1835 in chips)

Seat 3: dewulff (1115 in chips)
Seat 5: Mtnspades (2065 in chips)
Seat 6: Troy0038 (1245 in chips)
Seat 7: Irish Se7en (1365 in chips)

Seat 8: daroo (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 9: mrbreezer (big blind) folded before Flop

Unbelievable but I can't whine or complain, it's poker (man do I hate that saying). Oh well now I'm in the push mode all 120 , Yay!!!

Two hands later I'm dealt TcTh, PUshhhhhhhhh! Two callers and it holds up. 385 Chips, here we go!

Four hands later dealt Ac Qs, Pusshhhhhhh! One caller (Q/J), it holds chip count is up to 845. Getting there.

Another four more hands and dealt Ad Qh again, Pushhhhh! One caller A/J, my hand holds, I'm now back in the game with 1715 chips. Now I can play some poker.

Staying alive and later push Jacks vs Tens and it holds. Now there's just 4 of us left and it was position poker. The four of us are playing well and there are two extremely tight players, one LAG and me (TAG). The chip stacks are fluctuating a little bit but I'm hanging with the pack. Mr. Lag dumps off half his stack to me at one point but through his aggressive play, steals it back from the two mice. I eventually break him when I push A/7h's vs his K/Qh's and it holds. Two hands later he pushes A/8 vs my A/K and it holds.

Now I'm in the money (micro $$$). Knock out another player with this hand:

PokerStars Game #9972220371: Tournament #50568365, $5.00+$0.50 Hold'em No Limit - Level VIII (200/400) - 2007/05/18 - 01:04:50 (ET)

Irish Se7en: shows [Ts Th] (a full house, Tens full of Kings)
Irish Se7en said, "gg"
Irish Se7en collected 9355 from pot
Irish Se7en said, "U2"
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 9355 | Rake 0
Board [Td Kd 4h Kh Jh]
Seat 1: cw140162 (small blind) showed [Kc As] and lost with three of a kind, Kings
Seat 6: Troy0038 (big blind) folded before Flop
Seat 7: Irish Se7en (button) showed [Ts Th] and won (9355) with a full house, Tens full of Kings

***Should I have pushed, folded or called like I did preflop, when I raised and he reraised me? ***

Well I survived the hand and now it's on to my nemesis (Troy0038) whose 9's crushed my Aces. I have a dominant chip lead 10935 vs 2565 and it's over in 5 hands when my AQ held up against his KJ. Redemption!

Sorry about the brag post but this is one of my best comebacks ever. I had one close to this but I came in third in that game. Like the other post, the poker gods are looking out for me.

***further note: I wanted to play in the losers game tonight but I had plans that later fell through. Maybe someday I'll donate to the cause.

Re: Brag Post (sorry :( )

Instead of playing online poker, I think I'll just send you all of my money and have you do it for me.

Congrats again!

I'm just on a little low limit rush. Cashed 2 out of 3 but played the first SNG like sh!t. Poorly played, like I never played before. Chasing and calling bad recipe.

Keep your money because I know you can play. Didn't you make a final table on one of the CT tournies? I believe you did and if you can survive those fields when 8 out of 9 players can play, you've done well.

BTW TY

I got 2nd in a small Monday CT tourney, split 1st in an even smaller (11 person) Monday CT tourney, with all of the people who didn't make the QTOC, and only one FT at a real Thursday CT tourney, which was 8th.

I wasn't really planning on sending you money - but next time I decide to play it'd probably be better in your hands. You're getting the luck, and when you combine that with skill, it's deadly!

Re: Brag Post (sorry :( )

If you want to send me money I'm good with that too.

I guess I was stating the obvious about your play. You are one of the many players on this site that can play NLHE well (another understatment I believe). Congrats on your finishes in the CT games!

Q: why is it that the late night/early morning posters are most pleasant?

Re: Brag Post (sorry :( )

Thanks for the congrats, but I don't feel that I've proven myself quite yet! I have very low confidence, and self-esteem. Not just in poker, pretty much everything.

Through it all, I'm still a losing poker player though. I go on my good little streaks like everyone else, but they just hide all of the bad ones. All I can do is learn more, and try to put myself in the best position to win. It just doesn't fall my way as often as I'd like it to.

I try my best to be pleasant all of the time. I'm a horribly pessimistic person, despite my demeanor. I just try to be positive for other people, and it seems to work out for the best
