Pocket Pair Data from PT

Ok, so it seemed like I hadn't seen AA in like forever, so I had a look at my Poker Tracker stats to see haw AA compared to other PP. Here is what I found.....

AA 11
KK 27
QQ 21
JJ 19
TT 20
99 25
88 21
77 21
66 21
55 22
44 24
33 23
22 27

Odds of being dealt any pp are 5.9%. I am at 5.65% - pretty darn close

Odds of being dealt a specific pp like AA are 0.45%. My AA stats = 0.22%

Basically, I am being dealt AA half as much as I am supposed to
Now, I only started using PT a couple of months ago and only have 4,959 hands. I know this is small sample size but come on P* !!! Give me the rockets baby!!!

I'd be interested to hear other people's AA stats as compared to other pp.

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

I hope you get 11 times AA in a row to even the score

Unfortunately I don't have PT yet.

But I did get dealt JJ three times in a row in a tourney.

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

5k hands is statistically meaningless. 35k hands is statistically meaningful. Everything in-between is jut that.

I got AA three times in 35 hands at one table of .10/.25 6-max NL last night.

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

Havent checked recently but last time I did I was at around 70k hands. I was right around where I needed to be give or take a few hundreths of a percent. This held pretty true across all the pairs. Also, the winning percentage of hands was about where you'd expect it for the top 5 hands. These were for cash game stats; I've never paid attention to my tourney stats.

last time i checked, I was right on with % dealt, and was like 83-85% win rate with them.

It was scary close - like right at 5.9% (give or take) and ~ 1-2% from the expected win rate vs random hand. Something like 100K hands.

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

When I first signed up at Full Tilt, and was clearing the pso bonus, I played like 795 hands (i know, insignificant) and was dealt AA zero times. Got every other hand at least once.
So I stopped playing there. Stupid online poker is rigged, anyway

Mike

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

18 of 3,360 = 0.54%. Exactly half (9) have been in a blind hand. (Remember that, fellow CTers, when trying to steal my blinds. LOL!) The scarey thing is that I have a 100% win rate with AA, equal to 12.12 BB. Knock wood! I'm sure this last stat will change, unless of course I never get AA again.

My sample size is small as I only recently bought PT and didn't have any HH more than 90 days old.

Re: Pocket Pair Data from PT

The perfect number of pairs would be 430 for 95k hands so I'm close.
