I know my sample size is quite small so I'm glad to see that everyone else is getting there 1 in 221 pocket rockets! Just means I'm due for a mad rush of them on Thursdays .

The thread must be working because I got them once in the "losers tourney" tonight. I think that Brettbutler had them a couple times and I know I saw at east one more ocurrance tonight.

Well, a couple months later and still not quite where they should be.

20,634 hands

AA 63 times (0.31%) 88.9% win rate 4.35 BB/Hand


So it looks like I'm still "owed" rockets about 30 times in a row

Of course, I'm right on the number for pp's so they've just replaced my AA with 99 and 22 .

119 in 24,407 hands = 0.488%; 87.39% win rate; 8.16 BB/hand

My last "session"- 6 in 1143 hands = 0.525%; 100% win rate; 30.28 BB/hand

But in my "session" before that- 0 in 1076 hands!

My "session" before that- 9 in 1174 hands = 0.767%, 88.89% win rate; 7.81 BB/hand

Majority of this is 6-handed play

Hmmm, you're definately running a little light on those aces! He was running at about -2.4 standard deviations for the first 5k hands, and is still running at about -2.2 standard deviations for the next 15k hands.

I guess I shouldn't have been posting yesterday about getting dealt AA.

Last night I had my AA up agaist AK...and the cards came out KKxxK.

Yeah, I know its going to lose from time to time, but what a slam! The good news is I didn't lose my whole stack. After I raised on the button, I called the SB's reraise. It was checked down until he bet half the pot on the river and I called.

In the same tourney, the same player's short stacked 45s push cracked my 77 by making a flush.

And once again in the same tourney, on the bubble and in 2nd place (2 get paid), I stood up to the big stack bully with K9s against his K4o...he proceed to hit a board of x4xx4.

It stinks when the bad side of variance hits all at once in the same tourney.
