I have a buddy that wants to fund Poker stars using a prepaid credit card. Can someone give me a couple of choices that they know to have worked. I've heard that the ones sold at walgreens work, but I've also heard of some that will not work, because they will not fund gambling. What fees are associated with using the card. I would hate to see him buiy a $100 card for whatever the price is and then pay another 10% in fees.

The Gift2go prepaid Visa from Walgreens works just fine at P*. The Vanilla and Green Dot prepaid Visas will not. Hope that helps. Linky .

If he has a Visa Debit Card that can be used as credit, it can't hurt to give that a shot. My bank (Ohio Savings, which is now called 'Amtrust Bank' for banks outside of Ohio) lets me use my card as a credit card, and instantly accepts the deposit requests on P*.

I have done this as well... I used my debit card with FTP & P* with no problems... Maybe worth a shot.

he has no credit cards or debit cards. Kinda tough in todays world

netspend works with p* aqnd allows $500 initial value and $500 add-ons per day.

i assume this has something to do with the 25% up to $150 bonus at p*?

i just saw it too, and also want to know how to get $600 up there . anyone?
