Has anyone ever heard of the process for becoming a mod on Pokerstars? My buddy was playing a playmoney table at stars - a mod came by to deal with typical playmoney immaturity, and him and my buddy struck up a conversation. It lead to him being offered a job as a mod. Apparently he has to put in 28hrs a month, and will be paid $1000!

Has anyone heard of this before? Is there a way someone could be faking being a mod and trying to scam him? And - HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Especially since the immaturity the mod was called for was by my buddy and another guy I know!

Good point. $3/hour isn't so hot... I'm better off just playing the $0.10/0.25.

Hmm.... yearly does sound a lot more reasonable, but my friend is convinced it's per month. I will report more here if I get updates.
And I think regardless it's $1000 max with a min. of 28 hours. More hours wouldn't earn more money in a given month/year,whatever.

i'm pretty sure that you have to move to the Isle of Man in order to be a mod. P* has posted jobs on their career board and in the News section of the software from time to time, and this was a requirement of them all (including mods).
