LOL that wasn't meant to be taken literally. I was basically saying that a faceless online poker web site on some tiny island allowing some shady activity to go on shouldn't exactly shock anyone.

haha, okay!
Yeah sure, investigations cost money and they get their rakes anyway, so why should they care? (now i know Yelzen!)

I think it's more the fact that you aren't really playing poker against it. I can buy Turbo Hold'em or whatever if I want to play against a pre-programmed strategy. I'm playing for real money online because I want to play against real players.

Maybe they could just implement a feature like you find on web sites where you have to enter a code in order to proceed. Shouldn't be that hard.

If they are winners, they are taking fish money away so good players can't win it. And bots can do it 24hrs a day on multiple tables. I think the concern is that they'll eventually dry up the pond.

Re: Bots in Full Tilt Ring games

It should also be mentioned that there is little to no reason for any online site to pursue this aggressively. They're making rake from the bots, too, so there's no problem until it becomes a PR nightmare.

Everyone should fear the yeltzen-bot! I have proof he's a bot, he never chats no matter how much you taunt him!

Right,
when I play I wanna play against other people.
Of course you can outplay them, but just in a stare way.
When I wanna play against a computer I play W**P on my PSP.
That's the main concern I think.

Re: Bots in Full Tilt Ring games

It takes money away from the fish, and it's just unethical. FTP hasn't made a response to the thread yet, but it's been since last night since I've looked at it. It's a serious thing for a poker site to turn a blind eye to, and this shouldn't be taken lightly.
