How much have you won online.

I always wanted to deposit money into an internet poker account, but my wife did not want me to lose any money. So I started playing freerolls won .21 cents the first free money I ever won in poker. I haven't looked back since I have turned .21cents into over $100.00 now she doesn't say anything when I want to play poker online.

How much have you guys deposited or won in a freeroll and ran it up to?

Re: How much have you won online.

I got a $10 sign-up bonus from powerplayer.com almost 2 years ago. In the span of 6-8 months I ran that $10 up to over $800 before the site became a little shady and people's money started disappearing. There is a post about it somewhere on the site from a long time ago, but that is my best. Never deposited a dime of my own and I had a $100-$200 check come to me every money.

Re: How much have you won online.

I have no idea what my net totals are...but my best single day followed a cashout, when I only had left about $12 or so in my account...I played an $8 satellite to the sunday million that same afternoon on PS...won a seat ($215) and placed 70-something in that and won over $2K. That was a good day and I did all in my pajamas

Re: How much have you won online.

I usually fall prey to playing outside of my bankroll, but my biggest win would be $350 or so in a $24 tourney on FTP.

One of my 1st online endevors was depositing $100 on FTP and playing the $4.40 SnGs for the $24 tourneys. I won a couple and I'd play the $24 xthousand $ guarantee tourney at 11am and be done around 4. I made the final table two days in a row, both cashing about $250 and $350, finishing something like 8th and 6th respectivly. Needless to say, I donkered it all away in one form or another. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Bout a year ago I deposited $50 on Party and $50 on Titan for the PSO NJ promos and I cashed out about $250 total. Plus 600 NJs.

Last November, I deposited $50 into Stars, and was determined to follow proper bankroll managment, which I had, untill I discovered PLO. I had about $275 at one point and started to play $.25/$.50 PLO which took a couple dents out of my roll, even though, $.10/$.25 PLO had been how I got my roll to be that amount. It lasted me two months though, so I can chalk that one up as experience.

I've never won money in a Freeroll, but I've won seats to tourneys I couldn't play.

I've had my FTP play chip bankroll to 1.2 mil before and lost it. That was looong ago.

Think I'll make another donation soon.

I'm going to deposit $60 on FTP and play mainly single table SnGs. I'm going to deposit $50 on Stars and play only NL Hold'em cash games.

I'm wanting to deposit on GNUF (the only site I don't have an account on) so I can get another set of NJs through PSO. Has anyone played there? Heard their service is questionable.

Re: How much have you won online.

cut my teeth at 'stars...

deposited $50 in Pacific poker, lucked it up to about $200. Put it in 'stars and lost it. Kept depositing lord knows how much until I wised up and became a winning player. In the meantime I had bonus-ho'd lots of sites for chips from PSO. Ran my 'roll up to about $5k. About this point I started to have to wait for withdrawals from 'stars... that means you've withdrawn more than you've deposited.

My wife is a gambler, I have no idea how much money I've transferred her over the years but on one streak she did transfer $500 back so I'll just call that a wash. Bought the wife a nice ring, myself a nice laptop and have been losing steadily/breaking even ever since.

So I'm up a diamond ring, a laptop (currently broken... what a bad beat) and back down $40 ($100 deposited back, $60 currently).

Re: How much have you won online.

Zero -- I have never played a single hand on-line nor do I want to start. Living in Washington they'll probably come take me away and toss me into jail along with the j-walkers, people going 5 mph over the speed limit & other dangerous criminals. Honestly I know it would cut into time I spend with my kids -- and since they are little and still like their dad I'm going to take full advantage it -- it WILL end too soon. Then, look out on-line poker!

Re: How much have you won online.

Everything I have for my home game: custom table via acesandfaces, custom asm cash set, custom tourney set via palm imports, and several setups of cards all came from winnings from playing online.

I'm currently in the process of "saving up" for a custom tourney set.

Re: How much have you won online.

Started with $100 on Party Poker two years ago and played the $10+$1 SNG's. Eventually moved to the .50/1NL cash games before switching to Full Tilt. I moved up to the 1/2 & 2/4 NL games before the meltdown and cashed out all but $100. During the two years, I have cashed out over 5k, and I am back up to $1000 after cashing out all but $100.

It's not a lot of money, but it's paid for some fun along the way.

Re: How much have you won online.

It took me 3 years to figure out that online poker is rigged. EVERY site I tried, started off good then some of the worst beats ever. Take, take, take, thats what online poker does to your money. Going to live games, I have won back half my money back. In live play I dont get the beats that I got online. I know alot of online players, they say the say thing. Only meet one guy that won a large tournament for about 5k. He said that it brought him back to even. Dont put your money online. As Forrest Gump says, That all I got to say about that.
