Starting with $100 free money on Party from PSO - I've made $9747.44*, though the most I ever had online at once was $2240.
Not including hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars of PSO points i spent on stuff. This is why Small Stakes Hold'em is a book well worth $24.95.
* as of 05/01/07. It's probably a bit less right now - I'm running a little cold. |

Take, take, take, thats what online poker does to your money. Going to live games, I have won back half my money back. In live play I dont get the beats that I got online. I know alot of online players, they say the say thing. Only meet one guy that won a large tournament for about 5k. He said that it brought him back to even. Dont put your money online. As Forrest Gump says, That all I got to say about that. | It's not rigged...I can't believe this is coming up again. What do online card rooms gain by "rigging" games? They WANT you to play so they can take the rake. |

This was the FIRST W/D I made:
Cashed out again for $2K after and closed my account there before the laws changed.
Best of luck.

There are 2000 players and $500 in prize money. On perhaps the 6th attempt I managed to get to 22nd place and got a whooping $3 prize. Probably played about 4 hours, and had busted out before the bubble a few times earlier. Still it was very good (and cheap) practice. Once the people who go all-in on every hand are gone the game gets better and when the last 100 remained the competition was fierce (at least for a novice player like me).
Played two 1+.30 SnG's with the money, won one. Moved to the turbo 2+.20 SnG's because of the smaller rake and grinded it up to about $70. My play was sometimes very much off so I almost lost it all 3 times - even though I certainly was well bankrolled for $2 SnG's Now I play mainly $5+.50 and my roll is about $150. I did take one shot to $10+1 and won that game, but I think I have so many leaks in my mid-game that I want to do something about that before playing more.
It kind of bugged me once I was up at $100 I got €5 for free to a site that has a lot of small SnG's with low rake. And now I got $75 free for Party. So I would have got a lot more with less work if I'd shopped around a bit. |

I think I'm probably in the black over the long haul, but only because of bonuses and a couple of decent finishes in some free UB tournaments. In cash games I'm slightly above a break-even player. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
