Re: Poker Tracker Question

The numbers could be anything that the user sets to display.
I have mine set to display:
% of hands entered voluntarily (non-blind hands).
% preflop raises (preflop aggression)
Postflop aggression factor.
% of hands that go to the river (calling stations).

Re: Poker Tracker Question

Poker tracker is great, I've had it for quite a while. I got it free from a PSO promo. It's pretty good, and is fantastic for tracking your play. For tracking other's stats during a game like you are talking about, you should get PokerAceHUD.
I got it last month and I have to say it makes PokerTracker 1000% (yes, I mean thousand %) more useful while you're playing. It has a free one month trial which you should do once you figure out the basics of PT.

Re: Poker Tracker Question

sparky nailed your question.
Vpip (voluntarily put $ into pot)/Preflop raise %/AF (Aggression factor usu. postflop)

Pokertracker is IMO a very annoying tool that is at least as frustrating as it is helpful (though it's not bad for sites that download Hand Histories automatically). I'd start out just loading your HH's in and checking out your play. Datamining and running GameTime or PokerAce can come when you've gotten the hang of PT.

Re: Poker Tracker Question

Pokertracker, used with PAHUD (pokerace) or GT+ (gametime+) is the greatest tool for online poker. It gives you all of your opponents stats right at the table, in almost real time (a minute delay).

It can save you a lot of money in the long run, no matter what limits you play.

How do you mean annoying? I use it with Absolute and Party and am wondering if it is harder to use on other sites?

Re: Poker Tracker Question

Some sites it's a pain to get the HH's in. It's not a straightforward program (I learned how to use it from people on a couple of forums) and the help sucks. That's what annoys me the most - you pay $60 or whatever and have no idea how to use it. You have to ask other people.
I still can't figure out how to delete a database, and why different ones of mine appear on the list when I click 'Open a Database'.
Gametime+ is annoying because the numbers block chip counts and actions on some sites.
