OK first i want to let everybody know that this is not a whining or sympathy thread.i am just curious to see.


i think im in the middle of my longest ever.ive been playing just about every day for 1-2 hours.its been about 2 months since i have had a decent session.

so let me hear what your longest is.feel free to vent also if you need to.

Some people call it bad play, but it has to be bad luck.

Time is relative. I could answer any of those if I only played 100 hands/sng's in the time period. An accurate assement will be based on hands/games.

get rid of every red pen and $50 bills you have. do not accept another $50 bill ever again. $20's or $100's only for big bills. Avoid any contact with or watching any midgets on TV. This should change your luck. If there are any cool bronze statues around, go and admire one. This should get the kibosh off. I'm serious man. There are all kinds of things that can send you sour. These are a couple of easy things to get you back on track.

For the last 60 days things have been very consistent. I have been doing very well in tournaments but can't sustain a win in a cash game for anything. Brutal suckouts, runner-runner hits, etc. Reviewing my notes I am up ~3300 from tournament wins and down ~2600 giving it back in the cash game over the last 60 days. I'm going to take a break from the cash game for a while. I suspect that I am not changing gears effectively from tournament to cash play during a session.
Umm.. oh yeah, this is B&M poker, I stopped playing online after the last CT Quarterly game (actually before then, just continued to play the CT weekly event).

Because sessions vary in length as frequency of play i think you should redo the poll as hours of play, or in reality (to compare online and B&M) hands played.

The latter you could approx as online hands = live hands x 2
