Any thought to a player using multiple connections/computers to get three spots at the same table. Effectively tripling his stack by posting the extra money for the spots then going all in with all three hands knowing that he would shut out the others unless someone woke up with a huge hand? Don't play much on-line so I dont' know the ability to do this but it was the first thing that crossed my mind when I read the post. |

I'll go on the record. I don't play at all anymore online. When I joined a new site I would use a bot to get my bonus faster then disable it and play for myself. I only did this playing the lowest of the low limit tables. i never once used it for NL play or tournaments. To be honest, I didn't trust them for that, and I wasn't about to test their worthiness. Yes, bots are out there, they are better for limit. I wouldn't worry about them though.
Don't be surprised by any play in sub $50 tourneys and small stakes cash tables.

Any online MTT that has a very low buy-in and over 5000 players - you can expect rediculous all-ins in the very early rounds. Players are more than willing to push with any two cards when there is a big pot building. If they get lucky and triple or quad up - then they have a significant early advantage. If they lose, no big deal - it was a cheap buy-in.
Just expect this type of play. Best to play tight early on and avoid the donk pushes. |

As to play, who knows? I've played $1 SNG just in order to play goofy, have fun, blow of steam, etc. I actually placed 2nd in a 45 player, $1 SNG by only having 2 plays: fold or push. Nothing like pushing into a raise and reraise preflop with 66 and spiking a set vs AA to real piss someone off. |

the answer to the thread title is there is almost certainly some bots on pstars, but the hand in OP is not really an example of them. This is a case of playing a $1 donk-n-go and noone really cares what they are doing.
FWIW I think most of the bots that are online are being used at lowstakes limit games where the programmers actually have a chance to make a profit with rakeback. However these bots are probably terrible and easily exploitable. If you are really concerned with bots just stick to NL cash games and MTT where it is highly unlikely that anyone has been able to program a bot to competently play these games. |

At the lowest limits, not many players pay enough attention to exploit them. I could make a tiny profit without rakeback, but it helped. |  | |
