Pokerstars - Team Canada Freeroll

(I posted this in bad beats & stories but also posted it here. Mods, please delete whichever one doesn't belong)

Well last week I played in Round 1 - B of Pokerstars' Team Canada freeroll and I qualified (top 100/ 3,000 max) for Round 2 on Sunday. The winner of Round 2 gets paid entry to the WSOP ME while 2nd gets $4500, 3rd $3,000 etc. Well long story short I was chip leader with 40 players left in Round 2 (1200 entrants) only to run into some big hands (out kicked on trips and lower full house) to get knocked down to 21k with blinds 1k/2k so now I'm short stack and avg stack is 58k or so. Next hand I get I have 77s in late pos. with one limper and I push only to get called by the limper with QQ and that was the end of that.

It was really too bad the way it turned out but tonight I have a second chance. Each entrant is only able to play round 1A and round 1B once and they are locked out once they have played each. I'm registered in 1A this time and it starts in 30 mins. Wish me luck! I'll post my results if I manage to qualify again or not.

Have any of you Canadian players on this site played Round 2? If so, how did you do?

Thumbs down Re: Pokerstars - Team Canada Freeroll

Well I'm out, pushed all in with JJ after getting re-raised preflop and got called by 99 and he flopped a third 9....
