finding the lag sweet spot

I have been tracking my online play by hand (err google) - poker tracker went kaput & i never use it anyway. I am trying to catch hands where I am being overly aggressive and/or passive - i try not to miss a bet.

I am definitely trying to find the sweet spot between loose aggressive but not too loose and not too aggressive.

Does anything jump out at anyone on these three hands? I wouldn’t categorize any of these hands as "quality" starting hands… they are decent lag material.

i guess my question is: "how would you bet these hands?"... i think i did a decent job, but i think i use the bet to chase more people out than i should... i probably could have made more money.

Suggestions or Comments are welcome. I folded every other hand of the 15 or so hands I played that night (I usually play very short sessions online, so 10-50 hands and 2-3 tournaments is fairly normal)..

Hand #10 – the $11 was a probe bet… if he had come over the top – I would have been out of the hand.

Hand #5 – I pretty much figured I had the guy when he called my raise on the turn. If he had me beat he would have raised.

Hand #3 – too many outs after the flop (open ended straight, flush draw, and straight flush draw) to run from this hand. The $4 bet was kind of a probe bet… if he had come over the top hard, I might have folded, but I think he was trying to slow play me.

Any thoughts? I know there are hell of a lot better NL poker players here than me!

i can post losers as well.... but i usually (90%) just fold if i miss the flop.

my theory... NL Online, people are afraid to bet. w/o reload action... aggro is the new wave. i suck at tournies but am feeding on the vibe.

i used to play cash games to make up for tourny losses... no longer.

i still give it up for tournies... online NL aggro / short sessions. i drop 15 or 25 here and there, but when i buyin for $120 i make it count.

my betting needs honing!

i suck at online tournies... i bubbled again tonight.

i am picking spots, but when i bet... cash is cash... i dont think 1/2 likes $100 bets 85% of the time. i snookerd money for sure, better bets?

i used to make up for tourny losses playing cash.. i dont want to lose this style.

uber lag - agro = milagro... like betting into someone chugging a 40oz at a home game! WTF are you going to bet? LMAO - its why i wear a hockey helmet some nights.

never show them your cards, unless its a CT tourny! or youre setting them up

i suck, i know it, but i dont give myself enough time to helicopter with my chips. this strategy works only with short bursts of poker.

its better than driving to a casino!
