Not good for us with money in Neteller

I also dont see what NT would gain by turning records over to the DoJ. NT is not going to be allowed to do biz with US citizens. I doubt turning over the logs of users is going to change that. Unless I am missing something.

In theory, if its a settlement with the DOJ, they could use the records to identify potential tax evaders. If someone has had 20-30k flowing through their account over a few months, it might be a red flag.

I made a request to withdraw my money on 1/19. Told me it would take about 1-2 business days. I called middle of last week (1/24) and was told it could be two weeks. I called today 2/2 (two weeks time) and now I'm told that my money is frozen..........lovely. it's only $120, but that could be used for some live games with buddies who get more suckouts than anyone on P*s.

I have money in P* and FTP. should I request a check from them?

Yes, a check seems to be the only way to withdrawal.

I am glad I only had about $60 in Neteller when all this went down. It's probably gone, but could have been a whole lot worse for me had I not acted early on in this whole debacle.

should I do this now, or am I okay waiting? I really need to give up online play completely I think. I seem to maintain my bankroll, no big swings. good practice for live play, except for when you play with idiots who don't know wha tthey are doing.

neteller is going to payout. it just isnt going to be until the DOJ gives them the ok. However your money on the poker site is just as safe today as it was yesterday. I would be careful leaving money on ewallets for any kind of gambling purpose in the future, but neteller's trouble would not scare m in th least in terms of cashing out.

Your money might be safe with one of the more repected sites, but that might not be the case with others. I know a guy who has $7k tied up in Pokes Poker that he will never get back. As for NT and the freeze who knows what will happen and when. If you are a solid winning player with a BR on a trusted site then you're OK, for now. People who aren't in this situation shouldn't play online until things clear up, if they ever do.
