Neteller withdrawal taking forever.

I withdrew money from P* before the whole Neteller crackdown happened. Then, I withdrew my money from Neteller into my bank account. It has been over 2 weeks and the money still hasn't hit my account... Neteller says it's "pending". Anyone else having this problem?

Yep, well known issue thats been discussed to death over at 2+2.

Basically, NT is saying EFT's will take between 6-8 weeks to post.

Ah okay. I just wanted to know if I needed to flip out or not.
Luckily, it's not all that much money.

If I hadn't been banned at 2+2, I would have checked it out.

If you need the money quicker, have NT cancel the EFT, do a peer-peer transfer with someone you trust outside the US (fees for this) and have them pay you back via Paypal, poker site xfer, etc.

Re: Neteller withdrawal taking forever.

you probably don't want to do a Peer-2-Peery transfer anymore. as of last night they started locking people's accounts for this unless they were a VIP because they were afraid it would look like money laundering to the DOJ. If you know a VIP at neteller willing to do this then you could go ahead, but otherwise I would hold off.

You can also call their customer support and ask them to cancel your EFT, and then request a paper check that will be mailed in 6-8 weeks ................. or 3 years depending on their latest estimate.

Re: Neteller withdrawal taking forever.

I have like $530 in there, so I'm not going to cry about it. It'll get there when it gets there... I just don't want it to be frozen in there for all time.

So what your saying is, if you try a P2P and your not a VIP then you can't do EFT because the DOJ might get wind and tell the VP?

Re: Neteller withdrawal taking forever.

I have been waiting a couple of weeks also, and yesterday they told me that they have stopped all EFT's to the US.
