Chips: 600 | | | Further backlash from the closing of Neteller I recently deposited some cash at Superior Poker to take advantage of a 100% deposit bonus they were offering. I usually play at the bigger sites, Bodog, UB, FT etc. But figured I'd mix it up a little. On a side note, I would not recomend the site. The traffic is low, graphics not too great... Anyway, I had a decent run last night and turned my $100 into $560 so decided to take some of the profit out ($300)... Well, you can no longer use Neteller as we are all aware, you can no longer use Citidel, and I didn't use a credit card to fund the account so I was only left with a Bank draft..excpet they no longer offer that option!!! So after a long chat with customer support, the end result is that there is no viable option to make a withdrawal at this time and they are working on new options and hope to have them ready by this weekend!! That is F^%$# up!! Why stop checks?!!! Needless to say I will be taking my money out as soon as humanly possible and not playing there again. |

Fees are a little high, but to withdraw a large amount, it may be worth it. |

The check processing companies that deal with the ACH's (echecks etc) in the US that were dealing with these companies just pulled their support of these sites last minute after the Neteller ordeal and being issued a memo. There are a lot more details about it in this thread on 2p2: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...=2#Post8890165
I'm sure they will figure out a way for you to get the money out as soon as possible.
I know it sucks and I feel for you on this one, but the poker sites are just the bearer of bad news, so don't blame the messenger. (Now their site may still suck for other reasons, but I wouldnt know ) |

I didn't realize the check companies had pulled out as well..just thought they may be protecting their losses before they go belly up..so I feel a little better. I don't necessarily need the money right away, just don't feel realy comfotable holding too much in any poker site right now with how volitile the issues are. |

Please post what happens, I'm curious to see how long they take. |

Chips: 600 | | | Re: Further backlash from the closing of Neteller Update: I spoke with customer service last night and they say that requesting a bank draft is now an option again. Needless to say I cashed out for the full amount before they change their minds. Now let's see how long it takes to get my money | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
