yoda - "there is another"......

i know goofy title, but for those afraid they are about to lose their online poker fix there maybe some light at the end of the tunnel. This is from a pretty reliable source, and it lays out the current situation, but most importantly mentions that there are new deposit and withdrawal methods in the works.....

There seems to be some doubt as wether or not ePassporte can be trusted.

For those of you who play poker as your only income, you could be in trouble.

Re: yoda - "there is another"......

this wasn't really a thread about epassporte, but I have heard those concerns as well. However I have also heard many good things about them from lots of people. My guess is that as the demand rises for their services their customer service and support will also greatly improve. Pokerstars is a pretty good company when it comes to customer service, and if they felt that epassporte was just going to steal your money they wouldn't be recommending them.

the real point of the thread is the about possible new deposit and withdrawal methods in the future. check out the link in the op.

Re: yoda - "there is another"......

That link is old, the deeper issue with your thread is will the fish continue to deposit money making online poker profitable? At the moment sure, but in time NO. There are still a lot of players outside the US, but the games will get a lot tougher with the winning US players. The sites better come up with something else. Most credit cards will get declined. This is all assuming that the poker sites left for US players doesn't pull the plug, then it wouldn't matter.

Re: yoda - "there is another"......

if you follow all of the crap that if flying around over there right now you would think that Bush himself is going to show up in your house while you play a SNG tonight and shoot you. A lot of people over there are freaking out because they have nothing else to do. If they would just relax a little and wait they might find out how it all shakes out.

I was trying to provide a little hope. If you disagree with my link please give me a valid reason why and then quit threadjacking. I put the link in the OP so some CTers might see it as good knews and give them a little hope.

if anyone else reads this please ignore the last 5 posts or so and just check out the OP.

Re: yoda - "there is another"......

Seriously, if checked out my link which relates to your OP, you would see why. There is proof about ePassorte that they're not worth trusting. This is one of the sources of funding your link talks about. Western Union isn't convient and is pricey. There is hope, but it doesn't look good for US players.

Re: yoda - "there is another"......

i've read that thread and all of the others bashing epassporte. This thread had nothing to do with epassporte and had everything to do with this quote from the bottom of the link in the op.

Quote:
Sit tight, online gambling companies are working together to figure out ways to start processing once again using other methods. There is one master plan that could blow everybody's socks off but we've been asked not to comment on it, and we won't.

let it go p4e.
